TSDSI is proud to announce a multi city developers’ tutorial using open source implementation of oneM2M, developed by French Research Lab, LAAS – CNRS under the aegis of the India EU Partnership Project on Cooperation for ICT Standardization.

The tutorial will be conducted by Professor Thierry Monteil, University of Toulouse and his team, in IIT Delhi, IIIT Hyderabad, IISc Bengaluru and UIET Chandigarh from February 12-19, 2018. The tutorial will feature virtual machine simulated hands-on exercises for the participants.

        Scope of the tutorial covers:

        1.   Overview of oneM2M

        2.   Introduction to Eclipse OM2M: an open-source oneM2M-compliant IoT platform

        3.   Comprehensive use case study followed by a Demonstration

        4.   Deep Dive into an implementation of the frameworkbased on ADREAM smart Building of LAAS.

A Hackathon on Smart City Applications with oneM2M Framework is being organised on February 16, 2018 at IISc Bengaluru as part of this series.

This hackathon aims to imagine implementations of use cases from multiple domains, serving needs of a diverse set of city stakeholders and the community, in a heterogenous, interoperable smart city environment, based on the oneM2M standard. A simulation of the smart city will allow you to develop your ideas that you can then test on a model reproducing spaces of the city of Bengaluru.

The hackathon will be held on February 16, 2018 from 09:00 to 18:00. The Hackathon kit will include description of the mockup (sensors, actuators, oneM2M resource and possible operation), a MOOC on oneM2M, node-RED modules description for easy prototyping.

Registration: Participation is strictly by Registration. Please visit http://www.indiaeu-ictstandards.in/one-m2m-workshop-hackathon/ to know more and register for tutorial/hackathon. Registration confirmations shall be on first cum first serve basis. Hurry! Seats are limited in each location.
