Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) is a leading, global and non-profit organization that is setting the standard for robotics and automation by helping over 35,000 worldwide members and other professionals to solve difficult technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. It aims to promote robotics, automations and other new technologies skills development by catalyzing creation of large, quality, for profit vocational institutions. AICRA provides technical support systems to institutions such as quality assurance, Information systems and train the trainer (TTT) academies either directly or through partnerships. To strengthen supplementary skill development, AICRA focuses on fostering private sector led efforts that include both non-profit and for-profit initiatives with the goal of building models that are scalable.
The Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) is a specialized accreditor for robotics technology certification. The primary purpose of AICRA accreditation is to encourage and recognize the attainment of certain professional goals and standards for robotics technology and to encourage continuous quality improvement through a voluntary and comprehensive evaluation process.
AICRA’s current scope of accreditation is to accredit certificate programs in robotics & automation technology, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) technology-related disciplines delivered at national or regional accredited institutions across India. AICRA currently accredits a total of 13 certificate programs. AICRA also accredits the Autonomous Institutes and Clubs System at the national level, with review of all programs offered by them.
In addition to it, AICRA also provides a collaborative forum and collective voice for the community of organizations in India that assess the quality of specialized and professional higher education programs and schools. AICRA operates to ensure that students in educational programs receive an education consistent with standards for entry to practice or advanced practice in each of their respective fields or disciplines.
