        Some recent work with a client in Dubai involved development of modules to constantly sync history data from their portfolio of Niagara 4 installations into a single cloud database.

        InfluxDB was a perfect choice as a time series database (TSDB) not only optimised for querying of IoT data but also supporting the use of tags to add structure to the data for complex filter operations. I took a leap of faith going with the recently released 2.0 release of Influx which is still in Alpha, however have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and the new Flux query language.
