While India is the second largest E2W market in the world and sells 16 m vehicles every year, the percentage of E2W sales is still less than 1 %.However, with strong and continued push from the national and state governments as well as rising demand for E2W in commercial segments, India has great potential to be a leader in EV manufacturing as well.
