Extending our “IOT Gateway” offerings with yet another addition – ModBus RTU Ethernet IOT Gateway.
This is completely plug and play without any need for coding / programming.
User just need to configure the device for desired settings such as- slaveID, ModBus register addresses, data type, server URL, data transmit rate etc.
The above configuration can be done remotely though our device configuration portal. After this the modbus data can be visualised in Tangent IOT platform or user’s own server.
Our gateway family also supports edge computing, output control from cloud etc
If we combine this gateway with our ZigBee-to-RS232 RS485 Converters, we can replace modbus cable with wireless communication between the gateway and modbus slave devices, thus implementing a “wireless modbus sensor network” connected to cloud.
