Sustainable Reference Analytics Pvt. Ltd., with the trade name SustLabs, is a startup founded by Kaushik Bose, Rohan Gupta, and Soumya Bhattacharya. They have developed an IoT product that allows users to track overall and appliance level electricity consumption without deploying any sensors.
With a vision of an energy-efficient future, SustLabs was incubated in SINE in March 2018. Since then, the company is trying to change the way electricity is consumed and understood in our homes. Their algorithms have allowed users to save over 17.5% of electricity. They also feature in Mission Innovation 4 (by the EU) amongst the top 100 companies globally that are making a difference by saving electricity.
Their product, Ohm Assistant can be plugged in the apartment’s MCB box which is then paired with their WiFi. Users can see real-time electricity consumption on their mobile phones. Beyond that, users can also see which appliances have consumed the most electricity throughout the day. They call it “sensing the heart-beat of our homes”.
Apart from the support from CISCO, Tata Power, etc., SustLabs is also part of Google Launchpad. They have partnered with & licensed out their tech-stack to multiple global meter manufacturers and utilities
