The IoT has been identified as an area of focus for the US federal “Lab to Market” process by the US-based National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which has awarded a grant to identify the underlying IoT technology infrastructure gaps and barriers, and to recommend where future federal investments should be directed in order to address those barriers and accelerate adoption of IoT in the United States.
This session will feature senior executives from relevant solutions providers to consumer-driven industries and will offer a unique opportunity to shape an IoT-powered future with the US federal government as an enabling partner. The discussion will solicit input on a unified, achievable vision for IoT, where the gaps are, and where the federal government should be investing in R&D to address those gaps. The format will be a 45-minute panel discussion, with significant Q&A.
