        The main pitfall witnessed nowadays is that a lot of data centres have different vendor platforms. Some environments which are large might have separate SANs along with NAS solutions often with vendor solutions side by side which are again different, or they might have one vendor brand at one site while another vendor’s storage solution at a different site. This has the ability of making remote replication problematic, in which a lot of the vendor solutions are proprietary and do not offer interoperability. The only solution to this is by consolidating these islands into a single managed pool using a solution of SAN management that gives interoperability or through a change in costly infrastructure to a single vendor solution. In both the cases, the long-term benefits have the ability to save millions.
        A burning topic these days is the IOT or Internet of Things. Considering this a fresh concept, we need to accept that the common masses are not quite too familiar with this brilliant idea. This is a virtual internet connection from people, things, animals’ processes, and almost everything that is around us and we see them. It refers to a situation where everything around us or our environment is made capable of communicating with each other automatically without any human-to-machine, inter-human interaction. Besides the fact that it is a path-breaking discovery, it can also turn out extremely beneficial in facilitating our lives to manifolds
