        The IoT Charter Program began because of a comprehensive Cambashi study of the industrial IoT market in 2016, which concluded that there was not a reliable or authoritative source for segmentation, size or growth estimates.
        Further research resulted in a Cambashi report entitled “The Industrial Internet of Things and Digital Transformation; Market Landscape and Trends,” which was delivered in 2018 and served as the basis for Cambashi’s launch of the IoT Charter Program.
        The Charter has an initial focus on market segmentation, definition of key metrics and use case analysis, for Connected Applications in nine main Market Areas.
        These include Connected City, Connected Worker, Connected Building, Connected Construction, Connected Transportation, Connected Asset, Connected Project, Connected Infrastructure and Connected Supply Chain – all powered by the systems, tools and platforms that are driving digital transformation
