        We have created a platform (www.startupsvscovid.com) where we are consolidating all efforts being taken by investors, government departments, and stakeholders in the startup ecosystem to support startups tackling this issue.
        The aim is to make it easier for all involved to get information in one place, rather than via different WhatsApp messages.
        We will regularly be updating this platform.
        However, we can’t do this alone and, with this in mind, we would like to invite you to share your contribution on the platform and help us spread the word so that we can, together, help startups help India overcome this challeng

         

         

        The Power Of Community

         

        “A peacetime CEO spends time defining the culture. Wartime CEO lets the war define the culture,” wrote Ben Horowitz. 

         

        As for this war against coronavirus, a new culture of community action is being defined by the startup ecosystem. From growth-stage to early-stage ventures, from serial entrepreneurs to first-time founders, from enablers to investors — everyone has contributed in different ways. 

         

        “There is an important need to work with experts and collaborate with each other, which is not how most startups operate. We have kept this group (Startups VS Covid-19) inclusive to enable that collaboration, which otherwise may not be possible within the boundaries of a single organisation,” said Maheshwari. 

         

        At any point of time, multiple groups are trying to build patient trackers or contact tracing applications. But a lot of them do not have the ability to scale. What changes with community movements such as ‘Startups VS Covid-19’ is that these multiple innovators get the platform and support to scale their initiatives and also sometimes prevent duplication of efforts, noted angel investor and entrepreneur Ravindra Krishnappa, who is also a part of the coalition
