Wadhwani Takeoff, a program by Wadhwani Foundation, aims to empower aspiring and practicing entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge, television media exposure, and financing through our strategic partnership with ET NOW.

Under Wadhwani Takeoff, shortlisted applicants will be eligible to pitch their ideas and showcase their startups in “Leaders of Tomorrow” program on ET NOW channel.

Select applicants will also stand a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to Silicon Valley where they will be exposed to mentoring bootcamps and an opportunity to pitch to angel investors.

Program Details
The Wadhwani Takeoff Challenge is aimed to galvanize entrepreneurs across India through 16 city based events conducted through July 2020.

Schedule by City

In each city, five down-selected entrepreneurs will pitch their Startup/Idea to a marquee Jury after receiving coaching by Wadhwani’s network of mentors and experts. Three of the five start-ups from each city will be telecast on ET Now
Through a leader board ranking mechanism, up to top eight startups from across India will win a trip to Silicon Valley
Applicants from all over India are welcome to apply in any or more than one city
Eligibility
You should be fulfilling at least one of the below criteria:

Early stage startups with initial customer traction and/or revenue
Aspiring entrepreneurs with a validated business idea and/or a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
A registered business entity

Summary of Rewards

Top 80 startups across India will get to present to marquee Jury, including Investors
Top 48 startups from India will be show-cased on the ET Now Program, Leaders of Tomorrow
Up to top eight national winners will earn a trip to Silicon Valley where startups will have access to mentoring and pitching sessions to angel investors
An invitation to attend and network at Mega Conclave organized by ET Now
